Option 1 - from only $30 per person
You come to us and enjoy fun laser tag games at Murrenbong Scout Campsite
The location:
The Murrenbong Scout camp is an ideal location for outdoor laser tag. It's close to Petrie in the North of Brisbane and around 25 minutes from Baden Powell Park which is North West of Brisbane. The address is Gate 1, 135 Scout Road, Kurwongbah, 4503. We play in an area that is approximately 150 meters by 150 meters. The area has lots of trees which are great for the players to hide behind while also providing shade. We've also set up bases made of plastic pallets for additional hiding places.
Please note: Strictly no pets or alcohol allowed at this location. Players have to wear long pants and closed shoes when playing laser tag in the bush.
As it's the bush, anything additional that is needed has to be brought into the camp - this includes tables and chairs which you can either hire from us at $15 for 6 chairs and a table with a camo tablecloth. Additional chairs can be ordered for $2 each. We set it up for you if you hire from us.
The cost:
It costs $30 per player for us to host the games for you for 2 hours which consists out of 3 to 4 games with short breaks in-between. We have a minimum booking requirement of 6 players. Book for 20 or more players and receive a 10% discount which means the normal price of $30 will be reduced down to $27 for a 2 hour laser skirmish session.The discount is available for up to 40 players which is the maximum amount of phasers we have available. We are not able to offer a discount for extra players when booking over 40 weapons as we have to hire the extra phasers from our supplier if they have any available to book.
If you would like to have a session longer than 2 hours, it will cost $5 extra per player per hour. A 3 hour laser tag session will cost $35 for example and a 4 hour session will cost $40.
Session times:
Depending on availability, we can host a 2 hour session at any of the following times:
9.00am to 11.00am, 9.30am to 11.30am, 2pm to 4pm, 2.30pm to 3.30pm or 3pm to 5pm. If you have another time in mind, just ask and we will try to make it happen for you!
What to expect on the day of your laser tag event:
You and your guests would arrive at Gate 1 of the Murrenbong Scout Camp and follow the black Laser Commando arrow signs that will lead you to us. Our staff member/s will be on the left side of the dirt road waving to welcome you. You can then set up your own table and chairs or have a seat at the table and chairs you booked for us to set up for you (it costs $15 for a table and 6 chairs).
Each player is required to fill out a membership form/s and hand it to the staff member before the games start if they haven't already. It is a requirement of our insurance. It saves time if you can ask the players to fill it out before the event - click here to download a membership form.
When your guests have arrived or when you give us the go-ahead to do so, we will start with a short briefing covering safety and how it all works. After that we will run games with exciting missions one after the other with breaks in between :)
Laser tag games
We have a list of games we choose from depending on the age group and experience of the players. These include:
Elimination - the aim is to get as many hits as possible! The team with the best score wins the game.
Capture the base - the team with the most people alive inside the base at the end of the laser tag game wins.
Capture the flag - the team that owns both the red and blue flags when the time runs out wins.
Domination - there are 3 bases and the team that holds at least 2 of the bases for the longest time wins the game.
Supply Scout - the team that manages to retrieve and store the most supplies at their secondary base by the end of the game wins. Supplies can be stolen from the other team's secondary base or the supply drop in the main base.
Other games may include Avatar and Escape the Island - but we don't want to give all our surprises away here!
Option 2 - from only $30 per player
We come to you and run laser tag games in your backyard or local public park
The location:
We are the mobile laser skirmish operator that comes to you! Having us come to you means everyone can enjoy a fun outdoor activity without having to travel far.
Our general park recommendations are to pick a park that is not too busy, has a loo and parking close to where you want to set up (this makes it easier for us to carry the heavy equipment to your party quicker).
Consider booking the optional pop-up barriers if your backyard has big open spaces with no hiding place. It costs $50 to rent 5 pop-up barriers if you need them but you might just have enough trees for the laser tag players to hide behind in which case you can save yourself some money.
The cost:
The cost is $30 per player for the first two hours which consists out of 3 to 4 laser tag games. If you would like to extend it to three hours it will cost $5 per person per additional hour. So it will be $35 for 3 hours per person and $40 for 4 hours per person if we host your laser tag party for you. We have a minimum booking requirement of 6 players. We provide a 10% discount for more than 20 people and the discount is available for up to 45 players.
Session times:
Depending on availability, we can host a 2 hour session at any of the following times: 9.00am to 11.00am, 9.30am to 11.30am, 2pm to 4pm, 2.30pm to 3.30pm or 3pm to 5pm. If you have another time in mind, just ask and we will try to make it happen for you!

Rent a laser tag party in a box from us for up to 24 hours
Laser Commando also gives you the option to rent the laser skirmish equipment if you live around Brisbane and organising your own laser tag party. This gives you the freedom to enjoy it for longer - up to 24 hours!
The cost:
It costs $25 per player/weapon per day without the optional pop-up barriers. We have a minimum booking requirement of 6 players/weapons.
The price includes drop-off and pick-up of the party pack PLUS a 20-minute in-person training session where we show you how to make the best of it! We will be on call for the duration of your rental so if you have any questions or problems we are on standby to assist you fast when you call us on the number we provide to you during your training session.
Saturday rentals are dropped off on a Friday afternoon or Saturday morning and picked up on a Saturday afternoon or evening at a time that suits you.
Sunday rentals are dropped off on a Friday afternoon or Saturday morning and picked up on a Saturday afternoon or evening at a time that suits you.

Laser tag party in a box safety tips
When hosting your own laser skirmish party, you want to tell the players that there should be no physical contact, what the boundaries of the battlefield are and if there's anything in the battlefield they should be aware of such as a piece of barb wire lying around for instance. We also recommend asking them not to climb trees, barricades or cubby houses with their guns as they can lose their balance while using their hands to hold their phaser.
Hours of fun for everyone
When you choose to rent a laser tag box, you are ensured of lots of hours of fun for everyone. The phasers are fully charged when we drop them off at your place and have at least 10 hours of play time until the weapons start showing signs of having drained batteries. In order to maximise your play time, we suggest turning the phasers off when not in use.
